Prescila Julanton used her loan as additional capital in buying additional kinds of vegetables. With her many products now, she acquired more customers and her income was gained. She was grateful that lenders supported her in her vending business and she is hoping that they will not get tired in helping vendors like her. Prescila Julanton is still busy in her fruits and vegetables vending in the public market. She works hard to be able to make her business grow. She was happy that ASKI came to her life and help her to have additional capital for the improvement of her vending business. The loan was a big help because she bought many kinds of fruits and vegetables to sell, with that, her profits increased. And she could able to provide the needs of her family especially the schooling of her children.

Prescila Julaton is from the village of Poblacion Zone II, Villasis, Pangasinan. Prescila is 54 years old, widowed and has three school-aged children. To make a living, she owns & operates a business venture in the retail sector operating a fruits and vegetables vending business in the public market. While not the only means for generating revenue, the main source of income for the business comes primarily from vending of different kinds of fruits and vegetables in their public market. Prescila has been engaged in her business for over five years and earns approximately 5,000 PHP a month for these activities. In 2009, she joined ASKI to gain access to financial services to help improve her living situation and ability to engage in business activities. She is requesting a new loan of 5000 PHP which will be used to have additional working capital to be able to purchase more fruits and vegetables to sell. She plans to use the additional revenue generated from the business to expand her business and to improve their living condition.
