Lolita Baluyut
“Don’t treat failure as a hindrance to success”. That is the motivation in life of a separated woman from the rural area of Sitio Dam, Armenia, Tarlac City. Though her married life did not become successful, still she continues her life and live it to the fullest.
At the age of 59, Lolita Baluyut is blessed with ten children where two of them graduated with a college diploma. Being a business minded person, Lolita ventured first in poultry rising but unfortunately her business failed. But that did not hinder her, as she started her sari-sari store.
Lolita has been managing her sari-sari store for 15 years. She has experienced a deficiency of capital because some of the residents in their community are creditors, thus she decided to avail a loan from ASKI. That loan will be used to buy additional products for her sari-sari store like vegetables and meat. Because their place is far from the market she also needs a large amount of money only for her transportation when she needs to buy products.
