Emilio Guerrero

Emilio is 27 years old and lives in the community of Fredonia in Cartagena, Colombia. He is happily married to Ines Polo who is a housewife and is expecting her first child.

Emilio recently became a part of trust group “New Paradise" in the same community. For the past 7 years he has been involved in the business of selling chicken on credit to the families of his neighborhood, reaching great profit. He says he gets great discounts purchasing at the wholesale chicken distributor, which give him some credits to pay weekly.

Emilo is very glad that through the profits from his business he has been able to support his family and purchase a few furniture pieces for his home, he is hoping his business continues improving and be even more productive to provide his child with the best living condition as possible.

He is a very active man, he also likes to exercise and keep in shape because he thinks that healthy body = healthy mind. For this reason he is planning to open a gym for the young of the community.

He plans on using his loan to purchase larger quantities of inventory and has a greater capital thus be able to purchase by cash and do not get credit anymore.
