Celandia Manijo Santos
Celandia has five children and, together with her husband, has worked very hard to provide a better future for them.
Celandia's husband works in the local market unloading trucks that arrive with goods and produce. Celandia has dedicated herself to her business of selling pork meat to her neighbors and friends and through this, she has been able to educate her two children, Jorge and Adelina, who are also independent business owners and contribute to the family income.
The younger children are still in school and her dream is that they eventually become professionals with a higher quality of life than she has experienced in her own life.

Celandia is doing great and has expanded from selling only pork meat to also offering umbrellas, clothing, and various other household items. In the past few months she has been able to invest the proceeds from her loan into her business, increasing her sales and putting some money into savings for a rainy day. She says that she has been able to get to know her clients and their needs better, which has helped her to better serve them.
