Magalis is a member of the Trust Group "Responsible Ones in Action" and, together with her husband Ronny, has three grown children: Ronny, Dayanis, and Ronald. She manufactures sandals out of her home.
Magalis plans on using her loan to purchase more of the raw materials she uses to produce her sandals. She wants to be a successful businesswoman who works with "enthusiasm and passion." She dreams of finishing her studies and helping her children toward becoming working professionals.
