Aniceta Librea
Aniceta Librea, 31, is a resident of Toledo Cebu City. She is married to Eric Librea, 37, currently working as a timekeeper in a mining corporation. They were blessed with one daughter name Shane, 8, a grade 3 pupil.
Aniceta worked as a saleslady in an establishment selling different kinds of frozen foods. When she got married, she decided to stop with her work and concentrate on taking care of her family. She has realized that the income of her husband could barely sustain the needs of the family so Aniceta decided to put up her own business using their savings. From her previous work, she learned how to make “lumpia’, a kind of food made up of different ingredients then folded into a lumpia wrapper. As a trial, Aniceta started from 50 pieces of her product then sold it to her neighbors. The outcome was positive and because of this she decided to increase her production and she started to deliver her products to nearby towns and barangays. Her husband is also helping her in their business during his free time.
After just a few weeks, Aniceta was able to deliver 1000 packs of her “lumpia” to nearby barangays which helped increase sales. She has also experienced some problems with her business, especially from her envious neighbor and she cried for this but still she never quit and just considered it as part of her struggle. Aniceta just did her best for her loyal customers. She just concentrates on her business and on her family.
From her business and with the support of her husband, she was able to send her daughter to school and raise her with comfort. They were able to purchase household appliances as well as household improvement.
As of now, Aniceta is still hoping for an additional capital for her business expansion. She wanted to purchase a tricycle to be use in transporting her business to different towns and barangays to generate more income. She also wanted to purchase some materials needed in making “lumpia” to increase her production.
An additional capital will be a big help for Aniceta and her family. She wanted to give her daughter a brighter tomorrow.
