Margaret Wanjiku Mungai is a 36 year-old entrepreneur. She is a single mother of three boys and has been in the hotel business for the last four years. Two of her boys are in upper primary and one is still in kindergarten. Margaret desire is to be able to provide a good life and quality education to her boys. Margaret thanks God that her business has been growing every year and she’s optimistic that in the coming year, it will continue to grow. She is currently making a monthly net profit of ksh15000 that she majorly uses in meeting her monthly family expenses. She has currently employed two people.
Opportunity Kenya is currently funding Margaret with the second loan and with this loan, Margaret wants’ to invest it by adding more stock in the business and using part of the money to advertise her business. She is projecting an increase in the number of customers who will be visiting her hotel. She has high hopes of tapping a new market of clientele because after the advertisement she will start doing home and office delivery to those clients who would wish to be served in her hotel but are busy in other places.
