Anabelle Cudo

Annabelle Cudo, 35, is a resident of San Lorenzo, Guimaras. She is married to Benigno, 35, a farmer. They have 3 children namely Jessa, a 1st year high school student, Abe, 8, a grade 2 pupil and the youngest is Diana, 2 years old.

Annabelle and her family had been in the farming business. She wanted to help her husband in providing for their family but it was hard for her to find a job because she was just a high school graduate. She felt so useless because she felt pity for her husband who is working very hard in the farm but still his income was not enough for their daily needs.

Annabelle was still hopeful, so this time she wanted to put up a small sari-sari store just to augment their daily needs. After a few months of waiting, she heard about the TSKI organization that provides initial capital for those who wanted to start a business. Annabelle was able to avail a small capital and she used it to put up a small sari-sari store in their vicinity.

At first, it was difficult for her to manage her business because of small capital but she was able to manage it properly and she was able to save some amount for future use and she really wanted to save for the studies of her children. Her sari-sari store becomes the major source of their income and her husband was really happy because his wife is helping him in providing the needs of their family. Their business went well and Annabelle was able to send their children in school and she was able to buy some household appliances.

Annabelle still needed additional income for her business expansion and to purchase more goods to meet the demands of her customers. She also wanted to start a hog raising project to generate more income.

Additional income will be a big help for Annabelle and her family. It could give her a chance to generate more income for the studies of her children.
