Wilma wanted to have a business but they have no capital and she has also no idea if what kind of business will she put up. When their children started to study, it was when they really suffered financially. In order to have an extra income, her husband decided to attend training about bag making. It was a good decision for her but the problem was they have no capital to start with. Luckily, one of the programs of TSKI provided them a small loan so that they could buy a sewing machine for their business. Wilma was so glad because of the chance that was given to them. Her husband started to make a bag with only a limited materials and he had finished 10 bags. The first few months were so hard for them because of lack of capital and they have no marketing strategies. Their customers were just their neighbors and some relatives. The couple almost gives up but with their strong faith in God they continued their business.
After some times, their hardships and sacrifices were paid off. Their customers started to come because of the quality of their bags and its cheaper price and their income increased. Wilma helped her husband in their business by assisting him in designing and making of bags. It became their major source of income that she was able to send her children in school and provide them their basic needs.
Wilma needed additional capital for her business expansion. She wanted to improve their facilities and to have proper equipment so that they could accommodate the needs of their customer and she also wants to hire some employees. She also wanted to have a proper shop where they could display their products. She also wanted to have an electric sewing machine for her husband to lessen his work.
Additional capital would be a big help for her and for the future of her family. With a bigger capital she could also provide jobs for other people.
