As a supportive wife, she decided to put up her own business fro a capital she borrowed from her parents. It was in 1985 when she started her business in buying and selling fish to her neighborhoods. Everyday, she would wake up early just to peddle her fish. With her hard work and determination, she was able to acquire a stall in the market where she could display her fishes and could attract more customers. Florentina was very happy of the outcome of her business because she was able to pay the expenses of their children in school and they were able to purchase some household materials. Florentina believes that all of these hardships were easy for them because of the support of her husband which is also doing his best just to earn extra income.
As of now, Florentina still needed an additional capital for her business. She wanted to have more capital in order to be able to purchase large bulk of fishes from the fishermen so that she could save some of her time and effort. She also wanted to buy large freezer for her products.
An additional capital would be a big help for Florentina and her family. She really wanted to provide her children a better future.
