Matilda Adjei
Matilda is a 39 year old, married and mother of three children. All of her children are in school. She lives with her husband and children in a town called Mankessim.
Matilda works hard to support her husband to provide for the family. She is a petty trader. She trades in textiles such as scarves and head gears. Scarves and head gear are used by traditional Ghanaian women when dressing for various occasions like funerals, church and weddings. It is worn around the head and it usually matches with the dress worn.
Matilda sells under a shed at the local market. She procures the goods from Accra, the capital city. She has been in business for sixteen years and wants a loan to procure textiles in bulk to serve her customer.
