Mary Amoah
Mary is divorced and mother of four children who are all in school. The forty – six year old woman lives with her children in a rented apartment in one of the mining towns in Ghana. As a single parent, Mary works very hard to be able to provide for the family. She is a food vendor. Through her trade, she is able to sponsor all her kids through school. She prepares and sells a local dish called banku, prepared from corn dough. Banku is eaten hot with various sauces among almost all the tribes in Ghana. Mary sells on a table top by the road side in her community. She has been in business for two years and wants a loan to buy bags of maize and other ingredients in bulk to enable her improve her food quality. She hopes to increase her customer base to make more income to support her family live a more decent life and she would be grateful for your support.
